Our engegements with our workers

Collecting flowers being a step fundamental to our production of essential oils, we are committed to pay fairly all our seasonal employees, because we really think that it is also thanks to their hard and dedicated work that our oils are of high quality.

In an Egyptian society where unemployment is high and the unemployment rate among women even higher, our employees and seasonal workers are both women and men. LISHA Essential oils today engaged with 630 collectors for Jasmine flowers during the season of Jasmine, and we are proud to keep our engagment by evaluating well their amazing work.

We are engaged with FAIR LABOR american organisation to do more for our workers.

Sustainability and biodiversity

Our agricultural practices are environmentally friendly and help protect local biodiversity. In particular, we apply the diversified faming system that consist in planting many crop varieties in one single field. This agroecological technique promotes functional biodiversity, nutrient and water cycling and supports beneficial insects that control pests and pollinate crops.

Moreover, every year we offer up our land to house beehives. Our organic lands, pesticide-free,  full of fruit trees and native flowering plants, are the perfect home for honeybees. By providing a honeybee colony with a safe location we benefit of  higher produce crops, more abundant flowers, and we participate in helping  honeybees conservation.

Lisha Essential Oils is keen to provide answers to your questions, here is a list of general questions

Essential oils are powerful plant concentrates, obtained from different parts of plants, such as flowers, leaves, resin, or bark. Each essential oil is a unique complex of chemical compounds that gives the plant its particular aromatic characteristics. These volatile compounds are what give essential oils their distinctive aromas and therapeutic properties.

It is imperative that your Oil meets 4 perfectly expressed quality criteria
An Oil must be 100% NATURAL.
An Oil must be 100% PURE.
An oil must be 100% INTEGRAL or COMPLETE.
An oil must be BOTANICALLY and BIOCHEMICALLY perfectly defined.

The method of extraction for essential oils is steam distillation, although other methods like mechanical expression or supercritical CO2 extraction are also used for some oils. The quality of an essential oil can vary greatly depending on the extraction method, botanical source, and growing and harvesting conditions.

Science has begun to take a close interest in aromatherapy and essential oils, seeking to understand and validate their therapeutic effects. Several studies have shown promising results:

  • Stress and Anxiety Reduction: Research indicates that certain oils, such as lavender, can help reduce stress and anxiety, by influencing the nervous system.
  • Improved Sleep: Using essential oils as part of bedtime rituals has been linked to improved sleep quality, particularly in people with insomnia or sleep disorders.
  • Anti-inflammatory and Analgesic Effects: Certain oils, such as eucalyptus or ginger, are studied for their anti-inflammatory properties and can help in pain management.

Essential oils are extracted by distillation from plant leaves, their bark or their petals. The productions from which our oils come are guaranteed 100% Natural by French Laboratories. There is no fertilizer used, no product added to try to maximize yield in any way.

You can refer yourself to an aromatherapist, naturopath, health professionals, pharmacists and doctors.

SEEK THE ADVICE OF A HEALTH PROFESSIONAL (doctor, pharmacist, aromatherapist, etc.) whenever one of the following situations occurs:
– Pregnant or breastfeeding women
– Infants and children
– People with allergies
– For oral use
– In case of doubt about the use or the essential oil
– In the event of ongoing medical treatment (for example asthma, kidney and liver problems, cardiovascular pathologies, convulsive disorders, cancers, etc.)
– For long-term use

The oils should be stored in their original bottle, tightly closed, in a cool, dry place away from light, ideally in their original box or cardboard packaging where maximum information can be found. Essential oils should also be placed up high or under lock and key, out of reach of children.
